Great performance and thanks for sharing ! dancing jig
His livejams are always tight.
The first show i ever saw was around the Space Cowboy-release ... man, his dancemoves and the hornsection were just one united team. Amazing show which i'll never forget.

My brother went to a school-reunion last year and was told the story by a female-schoolmate who met JK at a beachbar, somewhere in Spain i believe.
They had a cool chat about music 'n stuff and he offered free concert-tickets for her and her girlfriends.
She said something about that how different you can view someone onstage after you had a chat with them, which i can kind of imagine :
A friend of mine once chatted with a musician at a festival before he would go onstage.
My buddy gave him some blown-up photos which he took during a concert from another band from way-back with whom that musician toured.
The musician was flabbergasted because he actually had never seen much pics from the particular tour.
So after that meeting, my friend somewhat experienced the concert differently by seeing the musician perform.
Anyways, enough of my blahblah

Here's a Jamiroquai-clip which i was hooked on from the git go.
That intro is slammin !

"Little L" is one of the greatest modern-day disco/funk grooves! music I remember going nuts when I first heard the 'A Funk Odyssey' CD.It was exactly the kinda music that I was looking for.....some uptempo,retro-styled JAMS!

That album is definately one of the few great albums of the 2000s and exactly some of the type of music I was looking for also.

Do you remember a little while back when I asked if Jamiroquai had a new song out because I heard an uptempo funky disco type track by a white artist on the radio and wondered if it was Jamiroquai? Well, I found out who the artist was. It was an uptempo jam by Robin Thicke, I think it's called "Magic". That song kinda reminded me of Jamiroquai and I was surprised because I thought Robin only made slow stuff. Is this track from a new album of Robin's or is it a late single from his album that won all the awards?

Oh yeah..."Magic" reminds me of Jamiroquai! It's from Robin's new CD 'Something Else'.The title track and "Sidestep" also remind me of Jamiroquai. These songs have that 70s retro/disco/funk thing going on..the same sound that Jamiroquai specializes in.I highly recommend Robin's new CD.

Thanks. Hell, I may stop and pick that album up on my way home which will be about in another 30 minutes or so. Then I can wait till midnight to play it so I can hear something "new" that is ass-shakeable as soon as the new year rings in. Maybe it will bring good luck for more new ass shaking jams by other artists to be made in 2009. I doubt it though. lol

Since they took the Rhythm out of R&B, Andy's been left with nothing but the Blues.

Blues or shit hop clubs, take your pick. I used to go out to the black gay club on New Year's Eve but they play shit hop. Then I used to go to the white gay club but their version of house music has turned into euro-trance sounding music which is extremely repetitive, dull, and actually too fast to dance to.

Hell no, I'm not going out. I'm going to get some beer and a bottle of champagne and drink at home with my brother. I'd rather drink with my best friend but he works security in the black gay club so he'll be working and I ain't about to be in the same room with no damn shit hop. Another one of my best friends died last January, and my other partner in crime moved back to his hometown of Chicago. The whore-crew has been broken up this year. Things are so dull these days. lol

I love Jamiroquai.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
