You're welcome ! thumbs up!
There are some more in the back of my memory.
I'll post them if they pop-up.
I think it's Jeanie singing in Freddie Hubbard's Splash-video which i posted on the passing away-thread of Freddie and Delaney Bramlett.
There are more sound-clips of that album with Jeanie's vocals, posted on Youtube.

I`m especially interested in Alfie Silas... found a torrent.

And Genobia Jeter recorded "Take a look" (aretha) in the 80s, gotta hear that...

There's more stuff from Vanessa Bell Armstrong to be found at eBay.
I've got those 2 posted ones, which have some great uplifting tracks on it.
This is how she looks these days

The "Blu Blowin"-LP posted above is actually her second album from around 1986/1987.
Her first album , "I Got Love" from about 1980 doesn't appear that often online.
The album was released in 2 versions :

USA pressing :

Europe pressing :

Peggi also attended an earlier broadcasted version of Idols, called "Star Search".
I think she got her record-deal to release "Blu Blowin" for Capitol Records, after she impressed the audience and record-execs who attended that show,
even though before the contest she already had her "I Got Love"-album out on MCA, who ironically released that Star Search-album too, lol :

Yeah, she looks great ! All those curly braids 'n stuff.
It's a cool album imo, and i found one track of the project :

( I think the link above might not work , so in that case : www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFjzkd9z4Rw )

From my memory, the first side of her album starts with her version of this funk-track below,
originally recorded and released by the group Underground :

There was one or a few topics about Sylvia before :

http://prince.org/msg/8/289097

Before her solo-albums, she sang in the group Side Effect and was followed-up by Miki Howard.

I`m not familiar with the stuff she (Miki) did with Side effect, but her solo albums have some gems. Btw, have you heard her latest album?

I've seen the cover-art before and still have to check that one out.
But ugh ! ... how much budget did they have for that shoot lol
And the red-font at the bottom doesn't match either imo ... too busy.

Seen her perform twice and it was awesome.
Her version of "Bring It Back" blew the place up.
She also had some impressive performances on "Later With Jools Holland" ... late 90's from what i remember ... i think it's released on an official DVD.

Didn`t Luther also record a song titled "Georgy Porgy"?

I did buy a cd by Beverly Knight once, but i`m that crazy about her. Now here`s a great vocalist....

Miki is a beautiful woman, but she does look like a drag queen on the last cover...

Now, since you mentioned Jools Holland, i have to post something by another wonderful singer connected with him; RUBY TURNER

She recorded a spinechilling cover of Gladys Knight and the pips` "Nobody but you"

I have the "always in the mood" album, which i adore. But the music she made with her sisters is wonderful...

I`m familiar with Carrie Lucas (i posted a thread a few days ago). She has some decent records nod

Wow, wonderful rendition of Gladys' classic.
Has a somewhat gospel-touch added to the mix.

The first time i saw Ruby appear on tv was the clip of "If You're Ready ( Come Go With Me)",
recorded and filmed together with Jonathan Butler and a back-up band.
I actually never followed her career after that.

Speaking of Gladys, i also dig this live-track from around 1983 recorded at The Roxy, with 2 special guests in the audience.
When i heard this at first, i immediately wanted to be there ... the audience-atmosphere is uplifting.
Ya gotta switch up the volume to experience this imo :

And here's Luther's version of Georgy, recorded with the studiogroup Charme and released around 1979 on RCA :
