We live in a world where a band this original exists and we get all soft in the knees and the head for the ok, but not great new Prince junk? For shame. These guys are the shit. They make Prince look like a weak assed schoolboy.

the guitars are fucking awesome.

they also remind me of the sound of "The chameleons", a little known band from the UK in the 80s, the way they used the delays and echos for widening the guitar sounds, just bloody awesome.

Rolling Stone just named Dear Science Album of the Year, and I think it's deserved.

'Dear Science,' is one of my favorite releases this year. The beat at the end of 'Red Dress' is banging. Why the Prince bashing as necessary I don't know.

I got the Dear Science album as a Christmas present and I have to agree it's a great album.

Still only had four listens and it's getting better with .each listen.

Great songs with great vocals, arrangements and interesting instrumentation.

Wouldn't it be better to compare this to album to others released this year.

This album features in most best of lists and rightully so, but I don't think it made many top 40 album charts.

It's a shame this kinda stuff doesn't get played on day time radio for the masses to hear, but then they wouldn't appreciate it.

I am actually interested in hearing some of TV on the Radio's stuff. Thankfully I had an interest in them before this thread.

yeah I got a copy of their record and after all the praise and rolling stone saying the best record of the year...i sat through about 2 tracks and was bored. i dunno, maybe rock n roll just isn't in my blood.
