Has anyone heard this album yet? Critics have been tearing it apart, left to right...

while it's an interesting effort by Common, and though I love his sexy ass to death, this album is definitely not his best. The Punch Drunk Love track featuring Kanye is about the best song on the album, the rest is just a bunch of tracks featuring Pharrell....its more like a Neptunes featuring Common cd, that is if you ask me.

In the meantime, I pulled out the "like water for chocolate" cd and have been blasting that like it just came out last week.

Punch Drunk is the only track I really dig.....

I love Sex 4 Suga but I still haven't picked up "Finding Forever." "Be" is still so fresh to me though

Thanks you guys! I guess the whole "in-the-club" approach didn't work for the Chi-town prophet. I'll take out his older stuff and spin it instead.

Sex 4 Suga is okay too, but its so damn redundant. He's done songs with sexual explicitness before, so this song was no surprise to me.
