which Mary J. Blige songs can YOU relate to?

as a woman?

I can relate to Deep Inside the most, and the sample of Elton John worked so well!

Lots of Mary's songs are relateable (is that a word) to both males and females. I know I could relate to "Be Without You", "Love No Limit" , " No More Drama" and more.

As a man, the song "Keep Your Head to the Sky" from her "Share My World" album speaks to me right now. Keep your head to the sky and don't ever look down or back. Go forward.

For me as a man, it would have to be, "Not Gon Cry". I am going through what she's sings about, right this very moment. In my opinion, this the best song she has ever sung.

None because I don't relate to a screaming foghorn I'm supposed to accept as a "singer".

She is actually one of my favorite female singers...

"Father in You" - I can relate, having grown up without a father...
and I absolutely adore "MJB Da MPV", although it's more the music/tune that engages me.

My Life
Be Happy
No More Drama
Deep Inside
I'm not Looking for No Playa Shit
Confrontation
Keep your head to the Sky
Take Me As I Am
Not Today

So many more than I can think of at the moment. The soundtract of Mary J Blige has brought me through a lot of trying times in my life. I could always feel her pain in her music that I totally related to at one time or another.
