Beyonce - DIVA - Video inside!

http://www.casttv.com/vid...diva-video

I think the video is quite campy and trashy..kind of cheap too but hell..no other female artist really is working it in the game like B so I give it to her for that....The song..leaves much to be desired. Like her Prince prince era glasses.

Those glasses look like a cat toy.
She better watch out or somebody might scratch her eyes out lol

The video and the song are pure cheese and trash.
I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

OOOOOooooo.....I so don't like this video. I loved the song though, in fact, up until I saw this awful video, I felt this was the best song off her Sasha album. I think she needs to change up her video styles a bit, they are all starting to look the same, have the same damn concept...wear too tight jeans with 6 inch stilletos while walking without looking like you feet about to break in half in black & white film. The video could have been way more classier, especially with the song being about a "diva".
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

And she has another video out too...http://musicgoss.com/?p=425
I think both these videos are shit compared to the Single Ladies and If I Were A Boy ones... the new ones seem like theyre trying to copy them. And the song Diva is just a piece of fucking shit altogether!

Diva is just so stupid, I don't know where to start. I hated it the minute I heard it cause it sounded off beat. Now it sounds even, but it's still such a stupid song and MIA would have pulled it off much better.

The song and video are shockingly low class for someone with this amount of talent who aims to be "an icon."

She must grow as an artist.
People must stop supporting this crap or else she's going to remain stagnant.

I beg to differ about no one else "working it in the games" now besides B. Rhianna is very interesting and showing major evolution as an artist. I can't wait for her next album. Her aura is captivating.

Not enough for me to buy her albums though....her voice is so nasily I cant listen to her more than 15 minutes.

Her voice *is* nasally. But truth be told I've always been interested in weird voices. From Bob Dylan to Amy Winehouse to Janis Joplin to James Blunt. I consider her vocal delivery to be eccentric. But I like abnormal things.

Been loving Single Ladies and If I Were A Boy and was really starting to ride the Beyonce train, but now after hearing Diva I dont know what to think. Still love Beyonce and still love her previous stuff but Diva is a real mess. Possibly the worst Beyonce tune I've ever heard. I just think she was trying to recreate the Single Ladies thing. Weird sound and dancey video. Only problem is Single Ladies "weird sound" is a FUNKY, catchy "weird sound".. not even weird, just new kind of sound... Diva is aint funky its JUNKY!

aw I agree with whoever likes Rihanna, she's such a cutie face with awesome style! I think she can sing but she sounds flat all the time and can do better. She has the fashion, the look, the songs, the melodies and the stage sets and dancers and concepts, however she seems very bored when she doing it all and her voice is NOT good live from what I've heard and her dancing needs polishing

That is so weird. I always think she seems really into her songs, not bored. I feel she is subtle and she conveys a lot of stuff in a stealth fashion.

I sense a lot of harnessed emotional energy in her performances, especially when she's on stage with someone and will exchange a look or something with them. I remember when I noticed this, i felt it was a great contrast to more over the top people who need to do a whole lot of dancing and showboating.

I don't need that all the time.

And again. I love love love her voice and aura. She affects me.

Who? Rihanna? hmm

Rihanna reminds me of Britney Spears and Vanity: Overrated!

I know. I know. She's my guilty pleasure.

AND SPEAKIING of comparing her to Vanity. You know she's being cast in a remake of The Last Dragon --taking over Vanity's role.

I was thinking about the 2 of them yesterday when I read an article on that.
If she can pull that cheesy role off -- I'll realy be in love.

OK. Back to Beyonce.
Diva. yeah.

Every time I see a posting calling B a diva, Imma hafta post the following:

There are only three divas - Bette Midler, Cher and Tina Turner. The rest are all followin' in the footsteps, but they have to wait til one of these three abdicates (i.e., meets her diva-Maker).

I like this version by Ciara. Her nature and "swagger" seems better suited for this song.

It's official. I am old and out of touch with what is hot today, because that song and video is a hot mess. Absolute ZERO growth in that song and I don't get the positive comments.
