As far as I know these cd's are only available as imports from Japan. I believe they were first issued as cd's in 1995. I'm just wondering about the sound quality. Have they been remastered?

I've got a CD-R copy of the Japan CD "High On You" and it sounds fine, pretty much a flat non-EQ'd transfer. Remember, most remasters these days are worse than the initial CD issues - the horrendous trend of overly compressing and increasing the volume level means that many remasters sound distorted. In fact, sone of the few decent remasters recently have been the "remastered" Sly issues. As far as I know, there are no plans to reissue the two albums you refer to, so you may as well pick up the Japan copies.

I'd be satisfied with just a re-issue of those two.
