BRUTHA by Brutha

Anyone else pic up the new album by the singing group Brutha? There is no question they cna sing, but the material on the album leaves one not fulfilled.
It seems like there could have been better production. I also think the reality show on BET was so overhyped with false imagery. These cats are older than the bios suggest. The father of 4 of the boys is Grady Harrell. His mom was a member of The Friends of Distinction, the group that did [i]"Going In
Circles", "Grazing In The Grass" and "Love Or Let Me Be Lonely"
The best thing I have heard from these guys was their a capella version of The Bee Gees "How Deep Is Your Love" on you tube whe they were in Atlanta for the BET Awards.

I did happen to catch all of the episodes of their BET reality show, 'Brothers to Brutha' and it does seem that these are some talented young men. I never really thought about buying their debut album because the material on the album is wack and I think they deserved better. I think that the ages of some of the group members are completely false. From watching the reality show, the oldest member looked as if he was in his mid-to-late 30's at least and the lead singer looked older as well. In fact, the lead singer used to star in the television series, 'Saved by the Bell' and 'Kids Incorporated' back in the day.

This is one picture that let me know that these guys were older:

I can see some aging effects and wrinkles in both of their faces and they must've had their daughters a few years back...
