Michael Jackson - We've Had Enough

I have just discovered this unreleased track it was apparently produced in 2004 during MJs trial. If there was any wonder as to whether he can still make great music i think this proves that he can. Personally, i think this is one of his absolute best tracks ever. Take a listen..

i know, this song is fantastic. also on invincible the song dont walk away is truly underrated.

i hope he does another album.. just one more michael please!

Also if you restructure invincible like .... this...

Unbreakable
Heartbreaker
Invincible
Break of Dawn
Heaven can Wait
You Rock my World
Butterflies
Fall Again
Speechless
Dont Walk Away
Cry
We've had Enough
Whatever Happens
Threatened

You get an amazing disc!

It's ok. Bit too much of an Earth Song wannabe, but not nearly as powerful.

Yeah, pretty nice song. I have to admit though that the first time I heard it, I didn't like it because I thought it was going to be another one of these overly sappy save the world anthems he likes to sing so much, but in this case, it actually turned out well. The ending of the song when he really gets into it is my fave part. Definitely one of my fave MJ songs.

I just can never figure out what he's saying in the chorus. I can't tell if he's saying "Dear God I hear it from you, Dear God I hear it from Us" or "They've gotta hear it from you, They've gotta hear it from us"... No matter how many times I listen to the song, I still can't make it out clearly.

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Over the years his vibrato has really gotten out of control. It reminds me of Snow White. It's a decent song tho. Sounds like Earth Song and a few others.

u R NOT LYING! I do NOT like this song. Im suprised it gets allt he love int he fan community that it gets. Its just too.....ehhhh for me.

the vocals sound a little immature. and his vibrato can get to me a lil bit. but i always dig it when he screams and takes it to church at the end. but the song as a whole isnt worth me to fast forward to get to it.

just too many michaelisms in one song for me lol spread it out some

lol That’s exactly what it is! The hiccupping and phrasing and other MJ things I can’t describe all wrapped up in one track.

Here's the lyrics:

We've Had Enough Lyrics
Artist(Band):Michael Jackson Review The Song (26) Print the Lyrics

Love was taken from a young life
And no one told her why
Her direction has a dimlight
From one more violent crime

She innocently questioned why
Why her father had to die
She asked the men in blue
How is it that you get to choose
Who will live and who will die
Did god tell you you could decide ?
You saw he didn't run
And that my daddy had no gun

In the middle of a village
Way in a distant land
Lies a poor boy with his broken toy
Too young to understand

He's awaken, ground is shakin
His father grabs his hand
Screaming, crying, his wife's dying
Now he's left to explain

He innocently questioned why
Why his mother had to die
What did these soldiers come here for ?
If they're for peace, why is there war ?

Did God say that they could decide
Who will live and who will die ?
All my mama ever did
Was try to take care of her kids

We're innocently standing by
Watching people lose their lives
It seems as if we have no voice
It's time for us to make a choice

Only god could decide
Who will live and who will die
There's nothing that can't be done
If we raise our voice as one

They've gotta hear it from me
They've gotta hear it from you
They've gotta hear it from us
We can't take it
We've already had enough

They've gotta hear it from me
They've gotta hear it from you
They've gotta hear it from us

We can't take it
We've already had enough

They've gotta hear it from me
They've gotta hear it from you
They've gotta hear it from you baby

We can't take it
We've already had enough

Deep in my soul baby

Deep in your soul and let God decide

Deep in my soul

It's up to me and i'm still alive

They've gotta hear it from us

We can't take it
We've already had enough

It's going down baby
Just let God decide,

It's going on baby
Just let God decide

Deep in my soul baby

We've already had enough

They've gotta hear it from me
They've gotta hear it from you
They've gotta hear it from us

We can't, we can't
We've already had enough

I like the song. I think it has powerful lyrics. The music ain´t as strong as Earth Song, but it´s a nice song. Better than anything released nowadays.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Now why can't he throw at least 9 more tracks together, put it on a disc and call it an album release?

His voice sounds heavily Autotuned...

i'll give it a pass,
the only song worth something on the collection was Fall Again...
if he worked on the chord a bit more, the song would be great
this is utter shite

'Autotune'. The new word of the moment on the org. doesn't apply to MJ.

Michael doesn't need any Autotune, no vocoder, pro-tools or any of that shit.

I love the song, and as it was finished in '04, it resonates a fair bit with me. i guess he felt the need to put out a protest song, but it was still positive. yep i like it.

I don't think you do...
cause you mentioned pro tools, and thats just an audio sequencer with no dubious connection to it like autotune...
Albeit Jackon is partial to Logic Pro, but aint nuthin wrong with pro tools
but do you really know what ur talking about?

Since when? he hasn't recorded that often, Michael has a natural gift vocally. i'm sure what we are talking about hasn't been around long enough for him to be considered 'partial' to them. But really, I'm not that bothered. are you?

I consider most studio wizadry and computer programmed assistance cheating, that's why Off The Wall, i consider his zenith.
