I wasn't too crazy about this song when I first heard it,but now I LOVE it! It's a perfect little pop song...catchy and fun, with great guitar from Carlos. The video is also very good.

"A little bit of this,a little bit of that
It started with a kiss, now we're up to bat"

I love those lyrics too! smile

The first time I heard it was a couple of weeks ago when the VH1 awards were on... I didn't know who it was cuz I was cooking some mighty fine pesto (mmm!!) in the kitchen whilst my bro watched it. There wa a full live band and it sounded great! lol not Prince great... but great nonetheless!!

Yeah, it would've been a perfect summer song, had it not come out in October!

I love it.

It's on all the time, but I have yet to be tired of hearing it. I'm just glad Santana chose her and not some other wonder pop princess or wanna-be pop/rock female musician singer. She's one of the few that I actually like. Otherwise it would be a long and annoying fall and winter.
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I don't think Santana's guitar on this song is up to his standards. I mean he plays what he always plays, but there's nothing in that solo that graps me. IMO, the song would also work without Santana.

It took me a few weeks to warm up to Shaman. After 5-6 listens, I love this cd. Carlos comes through once again. Great music and I love the latin beat on a few of the songs.

That's what I like most about 'Shaman',the fact that it is,by and large,a "Latin" music album.Yes,there are the more pop-sounding songs too,but overall, the Latin music dominates.Carlos even has Macy Gray singing a salsa song "Amore (Sexo)",a song that I like more and more with each listen.

That's the whole thing with Santana nowadays, he's guest-starring on his own records! He sold out and became predictable! The song is okay, written by that dude from New Radicals, thirteen in a dozen...

Was this song written by Greg Alexander from the New Radicals. I love the one cd he put out. No wonder this song is so good.
