I think Janet should consider one day just making an album full of slow jams, but more along the lines of songs like "I Get Lonely", "Twenty Foreplay", etc. instead of more recent songs like "Moist" and "Warmth" which are both downright nasty if you ask me and not as good as some of her older ones. She has the nice slow jams like Come Back to Me and then she's got those greasy nasty ones. The music is nice but the lyrics... mmm, not so much altho I admit I still like some of them. As for her voice, I think even tho she doesn't have a strong voice or wide range it has a pretty melodic quality which is great those dreamy sort of mellow tracks. At least the ones I like anyone. I can't have someone hollering and riffing when I'm trying to get my groove on. I want to be relaxed and transported. Which is also why I think that Brazilian album would be great if she ever got around to it.Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |
