I already had it "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I love George Michael's music ever since he started out.
I am checking out his website and love the songs he has playing there. I have to purchase some of these songs. So far I love these 3: This is not real love Shoot the Dog Understand Love the Stevie Wonder cover of "As" with Mary J. So far I like what I'm listening to. [Edited 12/24/08 20:06pm]

You have to download it from his website (www.georgemichael.com). I wish they would've included some artwork. Anyone have a nice fan-created image? "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

[Edited 12/24/08 20:06pm] U need 2 pick up the 3cd edition of 25 (TwentyFive). It is really good. Much better than the "Ladies and Gentleman" collection. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Since most people should be getting the albums anyway, there's something to be said for Ladies and Gentlemen including the Jam & Lewis single remix of "Monkey" and the "Burn Rubber"-sampling single remix of "Star People '97." Those two are essential IMO. [Edited 12/25/08 10:17am] "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I think yours is without As instead, right? honestly, i think one should rather buy George's studio albums than the best of. You're missing so much. On Faith i adore Hard Day and Hand To Mouth, you don't get them on any best of. LWP has so many great songs. Something To Save, Soul Free... that aren't on his best of. I mean, the second one doesn't even include Cowboys & Angels???

I listened to the song only recently and I like it.
I like the chord progression very much. Not fond of the lyrics, but I do love the line: There was always Christmas time to wipe the year away. I guess that mom and dad decided that the war would have to wait. Not a big fan of the intro and outtro choir either. [Edited 12/25/08 12:07pm] I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Yes, I was talking about the North American version. honestly, i think one should rather buy George's studio albums than the best of. You're missing so much.
On Faith i adore Hard Day and Hand To Mouth, you don't get them on any best of. "Hard Day" is indeed on the American version. That makes sense, because it was so popular it just missed the top 20 on the R&B chart. LWP has so many great songs. Something To Save, Soul Free... that aren't on his best of. I mean, the second one doesn't even include Cowboys & Angels???
The albums are definitely required, but it would be nice if there were one package that contained all of the necessary non-album tracks (remixed single versions like "Monkey" and "Star People '97," b-sides like "Fantasy," and singles like "As" and "Too Funky"). Downloaded it today.
Nice site. I had not checked it out before. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
