Why is Singing and Being Pop Diva's not enough for Beyonce and Madge? I was just wondering why these 2 want so desperately to make it as actors? They try so hard yet no one takes them seriuosly as actresses. I actually don't think either of them are so bad especially Madge in Desperrately seeking susan but I know others think differenly about their acting skills. I feel they should maybe just appreciate what they already have which is quite a lot and be thankful....

I agree Beyonce is a horrible actress. She's good enough for straight to DVD low class movies. But her talents are in stage performance. She can command the stage with way more finesse than she can command a movie scene.
I'm always shocked at how horrible and B-movie she is on film and have to look a way (and not listen to her HORRIBLE diction). [Edited 12/21/08 15:27pm] | |

Its not for anyone at this point. Lets not leave out Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and others. To me what this does is just take away from raising their game in music, its now about being a media star. But i have to agree with Eddie Murphy who said back in 1985-86 that its a luxury to be in movies, to get people to come out of their house and pay money and sit for 2 hours, they are more inclined not to wanna see you if they can just turn on the tv and see you in videos,commercials etc...I think the merging of any genres kills the genre.
