Hey, what's up... Hello everyone at prince.org,
Long time lurker now a member.I thought it was proper to introduce myself before I start jumping into conversation(s) and throwing my opinion around.

So, what kinda music are you into? Thank you for the warm welcome StarMon, GirlBrother and HamsterHuey. Huey.... I'm into a little bit of anything/everything: I have a deep passion for jazz (not "smooth jazz" pre say..don't get me started) the Motown sound, Atlantic R&B/Soul, Memphis R&B, a lil'bit of the Philadelphia Sound, Chicago/Mississippi Blues, a lil rock, (Rolling Stones to Red Hot Chili Peppers), and I consider myself a Funk Music Scholar.  Since picking up the acoustic guitar 10 years ago I like fingerstyle guitar playes like Mr. Tommy Emmanuel.
When and I saw the threads on Patrice Rushen and Quincy Jones, I was like oh yeah my type of people. | |
