Well some of his female fans certainly think so! razz

lol

What's interesting is you have fans who lived during different MJ eras and for them, during certain eras Michael was the sexiest. You have fans who think he was his sexiest during the Off the Wall era, fans who think he was sexy during the Thriller era, fans who think he was at his sexiest during the Bad era...but alot of his newer and younger fans --- like most of the fans who post on MJ messageboards think he was at his sexiest during the Dangerous or HIStory eras neutral

Although I was always a huge fan of Michael Jackson's, I never thought of him sexually (as I did Prince).

It's funny, people always want to put down the era that came after theirs. There are tons of older fans who were around during the J5/OTW/Thriller days who would make that same neutral face at the idea that he was sexiest during Bad. And plenty of people (fans and non fans alike) who would make it at the idea that he was ever sexy at all.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I honestly can't understand people who feel the need to belittle fellow fans over something so trivial. neutral

And I honestly cant understand why some fans get so defensive over when someone makes a statement that they dont think Michael either looks hot now or ever looked good, sexy or etc regardless of what era. Nobody is belittling anybody here. So I put the neutral face after the fans think he looked sexiest during the Dangerous or History era, because in MY OPINION he didnt, which in fact, in a lot of people's opinion he looked wierd and freaky to them at that time--including during the Bad era, but I am well aware that there were fans who think he still looked hot. People are entitled to their own opinions, but dont expect everyone to understand them or agree with them.

Michael was never a sex icon, however during the late 70s to Thriller there was something quite sensual about him, I don't know whether it was to do with his voice, his dancing or what. All I know there was this effortless grace about him. He didn't try to be sexy and that was the beauty of him.

From the Bad era he just became plain old chessy, all that makeup and grab crotching was anything but sexy. It was like he was trying too hard to be something he wasn't.

nod I like that, yes I agree he had an effortless grace and a natural sexiness/sensualness about him. He didnt have to try to be sexy, it was just there.

But as for this topic's question, are we talking about was Michael ever considered to be a sex icon to the general public or to his fans? In terms of his fans, the answer would be YES. Most of them I think have viewed him as a sex icon at some point. As for the general public? I dont know but I would think that at some point, probably during the OTW/Triumph era the public did think of him as a bit of a sex icon...and then at some point most of the general public wereMJ fans so...dunno confuse

Female fans of the man who remain so are gonna find something sexy in what he does. And it's usually the HIStory performances that do it for most of 'em (as we see with dag and some others here). lol

You see I don't see those performances with him in his gold pants sexy, it looks tacky more than anything else.

But the Michael in a tux during the DSTYE video was great or just dancing freely during the Don't Blame it On the Boogie video was sensual.

I will admit, that Michael had very nice legs during the HIStory era, and those gold pants did show them off very nicely!

And off-topic but:

"Was MJ Considered to be a sex icon?"

"MJ Terminally Ill?"

"MJ Says he composes on the piano"

"MJ Goes Zorro"

The top 4 topics right now on the first page. This "ailing and sickly" little zorro-masked wonder just knocked Beyonce off her "Queen of the Prince.org, Non-Prince forum throne!" lol lol lol

You´re right. What´s most sexy to me about him is his mannerism which is always gonna be there no matter how he looks. lol
For instance, I just loooove this interview.

I don´t care what they talk about. Just his voice, the way he sits there... I could just rape him if I was there.

Of course, he did have his very bad days as for the looks, especially recently, but I can find him sexy in any era. I think he´s hot even in this recent picture.

And he´s got a nice body (unless he´s waaayy too skinny).

Please don´t bother telling me I´m crazy. I know you won´t understand. lol

I am not sure how the general public views him. Maybe up to Bad era, he was considered sexy, or sex-symbol, but not that MJ would try too hard as someone already mantioned..
