Stevie Wonder question about "Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants"

On the jam that is "A Seed's A Star/A Star's a Seed," the intro has an announcer talking about the crowd in the song being gathered there to honor the completion of an orbiter.

What is the actual name of the orbiter? (It sounds like pit-el-lo.) And, is it totally fictional -- in keeping with the "only a dream" context of the album?

Thanks.
