One song you need on there is "Testing Our Love" by Nicole Wray. That sounds like something you bump while rolling through NYC.

Well if you mean NYC related, a couple of my favorites are:

George Benson – On Broadway
Stanley Clarke – East River Drive
John Coltrane – Central Park West
Billy Joel - New York State of Mind
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

You have to have "New York" by U2, and no NYC soundtrack is anything without "Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters" by Elton John and also "wouldnt have it any other way" also by Elton John. Manhattan Skyline by a-Ha

another more serious answer which may not be any more helpful than my last post, and might just be saying the same thing, only with less sarcasm:

you can't ask for advice on an NYC soundtrack. you just have to go and open your ears, take in the sounds, make note of the music you hear on the streets, in the restaurants, bars and clubs, remember what you heard on the radio when you were in the taxi, turn on the clock radio in your hotel room and listen to some of the funky local stations...just the sounds the city makes will give you more than enough soundtrack.
