OH YES!!! "Walking In Rhythm" by The Blackbyrds is a classic coming home from work song. That song is just so peaceful and smooth.I remember feeling so good hearing that song on the radio back in the 70's. Great 70's song. We need to do a thread on the Blackbyrds. Donald Byrd is a tough trumpeter. One of my favorite jazz trumpeter as a matter of fact.

A buddy of mine gave me some Blackbyrds CDs not too long ago. I may give them a play today. The Blackbyrds weren't no joke!!!

The Blackbyrds are GREAT! In addition to "Walking In Rhythm",I also love the funk jams "Rock Creek Park" (1976) and "Happy Music"(1976).I strongly suggest you get their Greatest Hits CD.
