I don't think you do...
cause you mentioned pro tools, and thats just an audio sequencer with no dubious connection to it like autotune...
Albeit Jackon is partial to Logic Pro, but aint nuthin wrong with pro tools
but do you really know what ur talking about?

Since when? he hasn't recorded that often, Michael has a natural gift vocally. i'm sure what we are talking about hasn't been around long enough for him to be considered 'partial' to them. But really, I'm not that bothered. are you?

I consider most studio wizadry and computer programmed assistance cheating, that's why Off The Wall, i consider his zenith.

You can hear an Acapella version, and have it still produced and mastered on protools, You could even still use autotune... And with the right engineer you'd never know

You see? quite easy to get confused, a bit of drink a bit of blunt, easily done, Maybe you shouldn't jump on every little 'mistake' you read on the net.

i know, this song is fantastic. also on invincible the song dont walk away is truly underrated.

i hope he does another album.. just one more michael please!

Also if you restructure invincible like .... this...

Unbreakable
Heartbreaker
Invincible
Break of Dawn
Heaven can Wait
You Rock my World
Butterflies
Fall Again
Speechless
Dont Walk Away
Cry
We've had Enough
Whatever Happens
Threatened

You get an amazing disc!

Please remove "heartbreaker" and "Invinicble" from the list, I just don't like both of these tracks, they bore me so much, "Invinicble" is not a great melody and "heartbreaker" is overproduced.

The worst song on the album was " Privacy" hands down, I just don't know how mj accpeted the song and recorded it eek , very weak melody and unnatural vocals.

other than that the album is good, especially "speechless" and "whatever happens", the initial tracklist of the album was alot more interesting ,songs like:

1-kick it
2-seeing voices
3-maybe we can do it
4-get around

were on the cut,but the whole tracklist was changed later.....

There it is.the bottom line. Not rocket science, looking at your screen-name.

If anyone other than Michael had recorded this none of you would give it a second listen. It's a drone that goes nowhere musically or melodically.

As stated above, it is a drone that just goes on and on. The lyrics get lost.

Personally, I'm tired of all of MJs songs "lately" (last decade or so) where he always sounds like he's crying or in pain singing. And "hiccuping" as someone else stated.

There wasn't a lot of hee-hee's and hoo hoos and hiccups on Invincible though... didn't fans complain about that? confused

Anyways, I love this track. This and Escape should have been on Invincible imo.

I was quite shocked how recent "escape" was. Even though the production does or did then sound modern, its a retread of "speed demon". Good for an occasional blast though as I love "speed demon" aswell, and the middle 8 is quite gorgeous, but its still a ripoff.

"We've had enough" is OK. Typical Jacko. As someone said, "Earth song" is mles better.

His voice sounds heavily Autotuned...

i'll give it a pass,
the only song worth something on the collection was Fall Again...
if he worked on the chord a bit more, the song would be great
this is utter shite

Yup, and the vocal is just heavily processed overall. To the point where it's irritating to listen to.... hate this shit goin on with a vocalist as talented as MJ!!!

The producer and/or engineer should show some restraint with that uneeded trash... it's as bad as autotuning Billy Joel singing the superbowl national anthem.

For an mj melody this century, it's pretty catchy. It's better than any of the other work Rodney Jerkins did with him.

Nah don't get discouraged...
I only use Autotune, when singers have an off day etc... a cold...
Or sometimes if the melody is really pitchy because of some weird musical interval
Don't think pitch correction is new tho
Back in the day pre computers, producers use to ride the tape reels in order to fix pitches, so it aint nuthin new...
