Today is the first of 5 concerts Madonna is puting out hear in Brazil, tehe first one is at Maracana the biggest soccer stadium in the world, and is sold out.
My question is:

I've never seen her in concert but I've watched several of her concert films and they look amazing. From the elaborate productions sets to the fantastic choreography and musicianship of her show band, it's basically like something out of a Vegas show. So do the math.

I think she would put on a fun show, I'm just not a big enough fan to justify the ticket price.

I've seen every Madonna tour since 'Blond Ambition'...except for 'The Girlie Show' which never made it to my area.I can truly say that I've always had a great time at her shows.

the price is only worth it if you can afford it. I've missed some shows because it was too expensive but the ones I've gone to were always memorable and lots of fun.

I still can't get my head around why this tour is so successful - she's hardly doing any hits.

this tour, in my opinion, is not worth it. the last tour was great and the reinvention tour was incredible. after having seen this show, i really wish i would have saved the cash and sat it out. she blows her wad in the first few songs and i don't think it picked up again until the end.

My first concert was Madonna's "Who's that girl tour". She was great, and I had tickets up front. I would never pay todays prices. She just seems less "live" now. I'm not saying she's lipsyncing, but it seems like she doesn't seem to connect with the crowd. Janet's always been guilty of not connecting, but I still enjoyed all of her shows. FWIW.

Wow, I think Madonna definitely connects with the crowd. At least every time I've seen her she did. That's one of the things I enjoy about her shows.

I didn't mean built into the setlist, I mean, in the moment of responding to the crowd.

I only missed one Madonna concert since "The Virgin Tour". Madonna is a guaranteed excellent show every time.

Her fans don't necessarily go to her shows for the hits.By now,it's clear that her tours will always focus on her new CD at the time.I don't think she'll ever do a predictable "greatest hits show" like many other artists.
