Beyoncé 'the perfect X Factor guest'

Beyoncé has apparently been proving herself the perfect guest star to perform on The X Factor.

A show insider said that there has been no diva-style posturing from the former Destiny's Child singer, unlike reportedly disruptive behaviour from Britney Spears two weeks ago.

The mole also revealed that Beyoncé has been getting into the spirit of the competition, telling The Sun: "Unlike Britney Spears, Beyoncé has followed the show a bit and knows who all the acts are. She has no extreme requests, she’s very sweet. There’ll be no dramas with her on set."

Beyoncé will perform a duet with Alexandra Burke in tonight's final, while Eoghan Quigg will sing with Boyzone and JLS team up with Westlife.

Alexandra Burke Crowned Winner Of The X Factor 2008
Tonight...

by Jason Gregory
Saturday, December 13, 2008
Alexandra Burke has been crowned the winner of The X Factor 2008.

The London-born singer beat boy band JLS to claim the first prize of a lucrative recording contract.

Burke will release a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ as her first single later this month. Like past winners of the talent contest, the song is all but assured chart-topping success.

Burke, who was mentored throughout the series by Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, fought back tears to thank the programme’s judges.

"Thank you for making my dreams come true everyone,” she added.

The singer will go on to perform with Sir Elton John at the O2 Arena in London on New Years Eve.

During the live final, Burke joined Beyonce Knowles for a rendition of the singer’s hit ‘Listen’.

A total of eight million people voted during Saturday’s live final.

Previous winners of the talent contest include Leona Lewis and Leon Jackson.

Is it me or is Alexandra strangely reminiscent of Solange?

Yet again i was majorly impressed by Beyonce. I think the Sasha Feirce project is my favourite thing she's done so far. She really showed up the finalists on the show.

Beyonce kicked ass...

gotta give credit where it's due.

But I think it was a bit unfair that Alexandra got a international star like Beyonce whilst the others got Westlife and Boyzone.

Ha ha, yeah i thought that was a deliberate ploy to make sure she won. That said, when Beyonce comes on and completely shows you up, thats the kind of situation that can backfire on you.
