Nice haul.

The book is tacky. Come to think of it; so are the sisters.

I've never purchased an album from the library, but I have been aware of them having them in stock for quite some time.

Praise be to Anniemal, I listen to this album religously still after 4 years!

I like some of her earlier work. Then it became... repetitious.

So far I've only finished Interview... and most of The Vampire Lestat
I eventually want to read all her stuff and then get started on Stephen King's essential books (which will probably take the rest of my life to get through)

I'm so dissaponted that Don't Stop was a near radical departure, almost as if she were vying for mainstream acceptibility. Anniemal is infectious from beginning to end.

"My Best Friend" is such a touching ode to her deceased, former love, DJ Erot.

Stephen King! I loved his Dark Tower series. And Misery. And I loved, loved, loved his book with Peter Straub The Talisman.

And I quite enjoyed his book On Writing , which also serves as a sort of auto-biography. Great read.

And if you like that stuff; try Jonathan Carroll's Sleeping In Flame and The Wooden Sea.

It leaked around the mid part of '08, when it was set to be released; but, her label decided to hold off on it until 2009.

I can only pray the delay is to perform some much need tweaking (aka, a complete scrapping to start anew).

I have filled out my ipod at the library...nice stuff, if you have the time to weed through lots of filler quality material.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Try to make friends with the peson responsible for ordering the cd's if you can (especially if it is a smaller library). They will often take suggestions from customers about what to buy for the shelves and you can check stuff out for free first. nod

Who the hell gave up their Annie CD...a donation, probably! I hope the fool packed it up on his PC or has an extra copy. That CD might be one of the best (or at least my favorites) of the decade. Overall stronger than anything Janet, Madonna...hell, even stronger than anything that skinny motherfucker with the high voice put out in the past 8 years.
