I still don't get him saying that her family wasn't happy because he was black. Rebbie's husband is black, Jermaine's first wife was black, Marlon's wife is black, Latoya's boyfriend is black. Not to mention James Debarge was half black and Dupri is black

I think what Bobby meant was that the family( Jacksons) seem to be color struck with the exception of Rebbie when is comes to there mates.Yes some of them have had Black wives or boyfriends but they were not of a dark complexion like Bobby Brown is. (imo i feel alot of people are a little color struck)

I don't think they had a problem with his race, as they all--with the exception of LaToya--are brownskinned. They didn't like the baggage he brought to the table. Of course, he doesn't want to accept that as the reason. Like many people, he'd like to believe they were simply "hatin'" or "color struck". You know, make it as though there was something wrong with THEM-not him.

That said, Bobby DID have it going on back in the day--good looks, could sing and dance, hit album.
