Bill Evans - "Spartacus Love Theme" From the album:
Conversations with Myself (1963) I was actually looking for a few other tunes from this album, but the below is the only one I came across on youtube. No, you're not losing your eyesight - there's no video. Just the music, which speaks for itself anyhow.

i've been listening to "undercurrent" for about a year now and i can't get enough of it. it's taken me up so completely that i haven't felt like going to the next bill evans record yet. but now that you've mentioned this one, which was released in the same year, 1963, i think it's time to branch out on my bill evans collection. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I love Bill's stuff. It's interesting how the beginning part of the Spartacus Love Theme reminds me of this song called "Emily."

A brilliant, evocative pianist, and SLT is probably my favorite of his songs/renditions. Some of my favorite Evans songs (including renditions of others' songs) include:
Valse If You Could See Me Now Time Remembered Jade Visions (Take I) (Live At The Village Vanguard) Funkallero Luck Be A Lady Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder
