yeesh, this is going to be hard, because my instinct is to keep it one per artist, but almost all of them would really be by 3 or 4 different acts.

here's a random stab at it....

Bowie - Station To Station
Stevie - Songs In The Key Of Life
Elton - Madman Across The Water
Stones - Sticky Fingers
Michael Jackson - Off The Wall
Prince - Prince
Elvis - Back In Memphis
James Brown - The Payback
Bee Gees, et. al. - Saturday Night Fever
Donna Summer - Bad Girls
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys
Al Green - Call Me
Ike & Tina - Nutbush City Limits
Cher - Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves
Beatles - Let It Be (i guess)
The Muppet Movie Soundtrack
Jacksons - Destiny
Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
Willie Nelson - Stardust
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Joni Mitchell - Blue
Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Johnny Cash - America (why this one, I'm not sure - it's just neat)
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
