His new album sounds really good. I still love CRAZY and KISS FROM A ROSE, but he was WONDERFUL on FERGASON last night singing James Brown's MAN'S WORLD.. He's a GREAT SINGER. I Dig SEAL!!!

He has an incredible voice, powerful, soulful, smooth yet raspy. It's unique and terribly sexy.

I liked the first album. and a smattering of stuff after that. His work with W&L is fantastic. But after that first album, most of his music I feel panders to mainstram. There was an edgyness to the first seal that is absent from susequent recordings.

I love Crazy and Killer. A Kiss From A Rose is nice too. But then nothing else. I'm not into his voice at all (to raspy). I.e. George Michael outsang him SO on HIS version of Killer. I'm sure Seal turned green!!

Also I don't respect him as a songwriter much. Does he compose his own stuff?

AND: In Germany he's been degraded as Hedi Klum's husband. A whole generation of teens only knows him as her husband.
