shanti and cyberraga were both chants she said were used in her yoga, not her spiritual practice.

people use tons of henna who aren't hindu. plus she's been practicing Kabballah since 96 or 97.

AHHHHH i'm indian i know what i'm talking about it all stems from HINDUISM ok?

You obviously know a fraction of the topic since Madonna introduced it to you.

I still think the whole religion thing is just a good bullshit marketing concept for her, but to each his own. Like everything else, she'll drop it when it's no longer convenient or she tires of it.

ouch.

If you consider it harsh, I consider it a compliment. It's true of every identity and image she's ever appropriated. It's the way Madonna does business - by giving her audience what they want and what best suits the market at the moment. She rarely makes a miscalculation. That is how a business should be run.

There was a time in the '90s where I thought the song was extremely overrated. I've since returned to loving it, but I have 20 songs ahead of it (including 5 from Ray of Light).
