Alanis is almost like the kiss of death to alot of folks. I cant figure out why. Her voice is a bit..trying .. at times, but her lyrics are great and the songs are good too. I also like Craig David alot and I found out he's largely made fun of too... And I can't for the love of me figure out why eh you like what you like. aren't you old enough to not care what the org thinks of your? i mean, seriously, when you're posting threads about the Anus Father, what is there left to be ashamed of? And I left off all them good 90s box sets of Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Atlantic Records, Roxy Music and James Brown...
And I deleted the wrong Alliyah! That's supposed to be her second album. But alas... shall I edit? WTheck, I will.

「 FAVES OF THE '90s 」This collage serves more as a snapshot than a full-fledged, definitive Top 25 list. It's what I played, what I was listening to, what -- today, as of 12.09.08 -- when I think about me in the '90s reflected my youth. I was in school, I was under 18, and these are a *sampling* of what I was listening to on my Discman during that era. Not intended as a holistic portrayal, but a snapshot.

Nope. How would you describe her self-titled album sonically? Is it similar to Cree's? Or is it like Kravtiz' Mama Said? Neither? BTW, I like how your list is in consequential order by year of release, gives it a different dimension and doesn't make one stand out more from the other. That's how I like to do lists or collages. They all have equal footing.

It's 60's/70's sound, of course, but more leaning to Motown, but then twisted with Kravitz grooves. The single be My baby is kind of telling for the overal sound; Sunday Mondays; Opening song Natural High;

I shoulda done my list your way. You can still do that. No problem. I took some time compiling mine though; not all my fave albums have a release date tagged in my player. I first looked at the lists already here. Then I googled some 90's lists. After that I ordered my MP3's by release date. Then I had to look up the missing release dates on AllMusic. And still I missed stuff, like Jurassic 5 (cuz I got the LP). Or miss-copied, like One In A Million, hehehe. Lists are never finished.
