Katy Perry : Leona Should Have Got More Grammy Nominations ok katy i think 3 is good anymore and she would just get people hating her! 
Published Friday, 5th December, 2008 Katy Perry has praised Leona Lewis and says the singer should have been nominated for more Grammy Awards. Talking to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Perry told the host: "I felt like Leona Lewis got robbed, honestly. Because she didn't get Best New Artist nomination." This isn't the first time Katy has spoken highly of Leona, as back in September the 'I Kissed A Girl' star admitted she is obsessed with the UK singer. As for hearing about her own nomination, for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, the 'Hot N Cold' hitmaker revealed how she was told the news. "I was in Sacramento. I was on stage. My sister told me. It's the Grammys. It's kind of like this super high-class club that they gave me a ticket into." Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! The gimmick was already played out when Jill Sobule first sung about kissing girls. Back then it was cool. Her song is just...ew. I would rather hear "I Kissed a Boy" by a dude and see what they do with it (of course that ain't ever gonna happen but it would be cool if it did tho). | |
