Ever since I saw the now classic Eric Prydz "Call On Me" video, I've developed a thing for these types of songs. They're just really fun to dance to. They're repetitious, oblivious and easy to get lost in. I love how they sound, too, trance-like, loaded in synths with a repetitive vocal or refrain showering over it. Usually when I see hot girls with wet hair or in large groups, synchronized dancing with lots of gratuitous body shots in a European dance video, I know it's gonna be a fun, catchy, oblivious dance track.

「 Sunset Strippers / Falling Stars 」.2005

One of the many, many, many, many remakes of Boy Meets Girl's "Waiting For A Star to Fall." This is among my favorites, along with Mylo's In My Arms. This, however, is the unabashed MOS one.

As you can tell, 2005 was the motherload year for these types of songs. When Eric Prydz's hit #1 it just opened the floodgates. I've pretty much downloaded every 2005 MOS song from that year!
