unfortunately it's real. It's from his lastest album The Greatest SOngs of The Eighties.
Clive Davis is milking these greatest songs of (insert decade) albums by older artist. I want somebody to put their foot down and say, "I want to make my own damn music." | |

Yeah but i dont understand peoples issues with it? I mean what about all the artists that put out xmas cds every year, how many times are you gonna sell fucking silent night. Or look at instrumental players, they make careers out of covering songs, its not like Manilow has never done anything original, he only recorded 25+ original albums. I think it's totally unnecessary, but he does a decent job with the song.
People may not like his style, but he has real talent. Something severely lacking in so many "artists" of late. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

On topic though, Barry still wants to have a career and working with Clive is probably going to attract him more eyeballs than he'd be able to get alone. It sucks that it has to be that way, especially for someone who's as good a writer as Barry is. And the production and arrangement on this are pretty tight, better than the original.
