Luther does not need an Unsung, he is an icon. Neither do the Supremes, Monica, Anita Ward (she only had one hit, for god sakes). No one cares about Stacey Lattisaw-she was not a tragedy. Also Tevin Campbell's homosexuality is still too controversial.

These shows are being done on tragic, damn near obscure people. Not icons like th Supremes

& why is Tevin's sexuality an issue? Are you saying they wouldn't do an ep on him b/c of it, or that people wouldn't wanna watch it? I think that would make it REALLY interesting, the fact that the bias is still very strong. & he's still here & could have a strong career w/ that voice, but whatever derailed him in addition to the bias is very real. I'd watch that!

The story of the Supremes has been done to death. Nothing new can be added. Stacey is now a happily married wife and mom who sings gospel. She was not tragic and honestly, I think was just moderately successful

I don't know who would go on record re Tevin and his sexuality cause that would be 90% of the story and Tevin himself is in denial about his sexual preference
