I was over a friends house a few weeks ago, and they were playing 'Guitar Hero', and one of the songs on there was 'Black Hole Sun' which I had only heard in passing before. But after that game, I went home and downloaded it and I'm really digging that song. What do you guys think about it, and is Soundgarden worth exploring???

That's one of my favorite 90s throwback songs. That, and "Spoonman" from the same album.

I've always loved it, but I've never really been a Soundgarden fan at all.

I think the song is quite annoying.

It's Trippy so's the video. I dig it and them and Chris Cornell.

It's a pretty good tune off of a pretty good album.

I prefer Down On The Upside, though.

Soundgarden is really good, but they don't really go that deep. Very competent, good songs, good musicians, interesting arrangements, but the songs don't add up to very much more than cool stylish rock.

The ONLY song I like by them proper. But I like their collaboration with Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog's "I'm Going Hungry".

One of the coolest videos from the 90s.

This an amazing song and the reason lead singer Chris Cornell is still in my top 10 vocalists. The raw emotion of this song and the vocals make for a true 90's grunge classic.

The album is "Super Unknown" and if you don't own it, go buy it. It was Soundgarden at the top of their game commercially. I wore out my first copy.

Chris Cornell after this turned into a hot mess (except his 1st dark solo album) but Soundgarden as a band was in another league than the other "grunge" bands.

"Bad Motor Finger" should be next on your list if you can handle the rock. "Rusty Cage" =

Chris Cornell & Layne Staley are in my top ten rock vocalists.

Love the song...it's the only song I like from them though...yep, my ipod is complete with Soundgarden's ONE song.

Great song. Psychedelia in the 90's. Reminds me of the Beatles with a Jimi solo thrown in.
