i have a polyrock compilation kicking around that i bought from cassette-only specialty label ROIR way back when. i haven't listened to it in forever. if i remember right, they were sort of jerky-rhythmed arty new york new-wave types.

I like the Motels quite a bit. Just got their hard-to-find album "Shock" - not their best but still very enjoyable. I saw them recently on TV - Hit Me baby One More Time was it? They still sound great and Martha Davis and her voice have aged very well.
