Can you imagine them auto-tuning "Working Day & Night" to death. Ugh! LMAO!

Oh and MJ's the reason Thriller had those remixes. giggle

OTW is my favorite adult MJ album, so I will be getting this. I wonder what they're gonna do since there won't be any remixes on it.

Beyonce was gonna do a remix with some vocals added, but decided she was gonna re-record the song

"Don't Stop Til You Get Enough 2009"
written by M. Jackson and B.Carter

she felt some of the lyrics would be better if she rewrote a line

"I'm melting like hot candle wax"

to "I'm boiling like a hot water pot"

See? it's better now

I wonder will any outtakes from Triumph be included like Slipped Away? Sunset Driver will probably be included also.

So HIStory '15 will be released in 2010.
Dangerous '20 and Invincible '10 in 2011.
Bad '25 will be released in 2012.

OTW 30 is a big deal IMO. The other re-releases are pointless, but this one is an exception

November 2009 sees the release of Diana Ross presents the Jackson Five featuring all new remixes by Flo Rida and Rhiannah, the Neptunes, Bigboi, Wyclef, Shomique Johnson (Hypothetical name for scantily clad Beyonce/Rhianna clone that will hit big in 2009) and Fantasia Burrino are all contributing remixes and even Tony M is rumoured to help.

This is up there with the Islam, I think the next record coming out is called praise Allah

Ridiculous. Let's just remember how many times they re-sold the tracks "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" & "Rock With You" in this decade:

- Off The Wall (Special Edition) (2001)
- Greatest Hits Volume 1 (2001)
- Number Ones (2003)
- The Ultimate Collection (2004)
- The Essential Michael Jackson (2005)
- Visionary Singles Box Set (2006)
- King Of Pop (2008)

lol

Wonder what they'll do for OTW 40 and OTW 50. Seriously 30 years ain't a historical number. They are just trying to cash in on the Thriller 25 success. They should wait for the 50th anniversary and give us something really decent instead of a cheap package with a few bonus tracks. How 'bout lot's of outtakes, different mixes, DVD with documentary on the making of the album and some live stuff. So much they could, but won't do. There will be no love put into this project just as there was no love put into Thriller 25.

End rant.

Michael had as much to do with the way Thriller 25 did. He reportedly requested that there'll be remixes on the album and to include some of the artists on the re-release. Sony originally wanted to do what they're probably going to do for Off the Wall. I know re-releases of MJ albums are a pain but I just think this album was far too important to be overlooked.

NOW if they DO release anniversaries of Bad, Dangerous and HIStory, I'm gonna flip off. lol

Why wasn't the remastered edition enough? The 25th anniversary of Thriller was justified because it's still the best selling album in the world after all, but OTW was nowhere near from that, and after a remastered edition and a string of compilations including the 4 singles, re-releasing it again is just pathetic.

It sold some 15 million and ushered in a new era of R&B music where commercial disco was on the outs and American radio was starting to divide itself again. "Thriller" only made sense BECAUSE it's the best-selling album. IMO, OTW and Thriller are his landmark albums.

why outtakes from Triumph and not from Off The Wall?? Even if we'll get some demo version it would be cool. Just something.
