Marcus Miller, with Raphael Saadiq - "Boomerang" (Warning: Mature, Graphic Illustrations) ...
I always dug this tune, from Marcus Miller's "M2" album (2001). The tune was originally the instrumental theme from Marcus Miller's soundtrack to the Eddie Murphy movie, "Boomerang". (The youtube poster synched it up to Nicholas Poupon illustrations, so be careful watching at work!) Marcus Miller: Bass,Keyboards, vocals Raphael Saadiq - vocals Michael "Patches" Stewart - Trumpet

I fell for this song just from the snippet I heard in the movie. It always sounded so dreamy then when I heard the whole song I was surprised by the vocals. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |
