I just ordered my copy lol I've been good this year so I think Santa would want me to have this, lol.I'm extremely excited about this set, mainly because it includes the out-of-print 'Outlaw' CD.I remember in the mid-90s,seeing that CD in stores and thinking "I'll come back and buy this later".But guess what? It was a limited edition pressing.Pretty soon,it disappeared from the shelves. So glad it's back!

A few of these other CDs I've never owned before:

"War"
"All Day Music"
"Deliver The Word"
"Platinum Jazz"

This set would be perfect if it included the 1977 'Galaxy' CD but that was on a different label (MCA) so I understand why it's not included here.

It's also missing the 1974 double-disc 'Live' CD.They should have included that one instead of 'Peace Sign',which is a good album, don't get me wrong but it's not really essential to their legacy.

This was issued as a promo in the 90s. They are just reproducing it for the masses now.

Why bother? There's nothing extra on these reissues. ALl you get is a fancy box.

I wonder why there are no outtakes, demo versions and other goodies included on the individual CDs? I think the only bonus track is the single version of "Cinco De Mayo" on the 'Outlaw' CD.

In any case,I'm thrilled to be getting this set,as I've never had some of these albums before.

I'm definitely getting this for Christmas! Allmusic recently gave this set 4 out of 5 stars, so it seems that this is an inspired set. The only WAR albums I had in my collection was The World is A Ghetto and Anthology from 1994. Can't wait for this one though!

That's pretty sweet, although I agree about the extras.

I'll just stick with the 2 disc "Anthology" for now.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Yeah I got that 2-CD 'Anthology' set. It's probably the best compilation of their music.
