You have no clue the artists i listen too and it shows the lameness on this forum when the only artists that get views are NOT musicians, and when MUSICIANS are posted no one reads, so look in the fucking mirror

Whoa, hold up people! Take a chill pill. chill pill I'm guessing that lastdecember drank a whole carton of Haterade, because that's all he's beem doing all night about the people performing on the AMA's.

I watched this awards show tonight, and compared to the ones of the last three years or so, tonight actually wasn't too bad. Having said that, though, there weren't any moments on the show that would make me say "Wow!" Rihanna was pretty robotic in her singing, Christina Aguilera was so so but has had better moments, NeYo was blah, Mariah sang okay but otherwise picked a dull song to sing, Beyonce's little dance is getting old already, PCD was trying to look sexy but came across as generic, and if Coldplay was supposed to represent the best of what is left of arena rock, then they came across as way too mellow.

If you scroll way back i said that NO ONE was giving that WOW factor, long before, and pointed out alot of these things, like Xtina is a poor live performer, ne-Yo is a rip off of everyone, Coldplay is terrible live, Beyonce is getting played out with the routine, Enough with pink already, Mariahs song sucks all the things i said, how is that hate? I gave Annie her props as the last SOUL SINGER

Ok, I saw Beyonce's performance on youtube.

I enjoyed it. SL is so infectious and the killer choreography makes it even better.

But I must admit that it's going to get old real fast if she keeps duplicating the choreography from the video everytime she performs SL.

Yeah, she should definitely change it up because I just watched 4 seperate live performances of her performing SL and she did the video choreography on each one.

As for the AMAs, Alicia Keys was the best of the night. Her performance with Queen Latifah and Kathleen Battle was excellent, and very emotional. All of them sang so wonderfully! In general though, I've always admired how intelligent and graceful Alicia is on and off stage, and how she recognizes real musical talent by spotlighting overlooked artists on stage with her. She's always so cool, unlike so many others.

Pink was really great too, as she can also sing very well live.

Beyonce's performance was disappointing unfortunately. She should have performed "If I Were a Boy" instead of looking so desperate in that leotard again.

I like Ne-Yo a lot, but something about his performance did not flow very well for some reason. I think it was the odd mixing of his two songs with the James Bond theme. But at least he was singing live, LOL.

Mariah was, well, same 'ole Mariah. I love her voice, so I always look forward to watching her stand, point, and jab the air while lip-synching so beautifully. She just can't sing confidently live...but she tears up the mic. in a studio, so I'll always respect her.

The Jonas Brothers are cute, but I'm not a fan of their voices. However, they all play instruments, have great hair, and always look neat/clean in clothes, so I enjoyed watching them perform. LOL.

And as usual, I was very shocked by the winners of most of the awards. Lil Wayne was beat twice by Kanye West, which was surprising since Wayne sold over a million for his latest album so quickly this year. Rihanna was awarded over Alicia Keys twice, which is ridiculous. But when Chris Brown won Artist of the Year over Alicia, that was actually upsetting. But that's what online voting by 8-14 year olds will result in. Nothing but a strange popularity contest now.

I can't believe Alicia had the nerves to perform without gyrating and opening her legs like a common whore.

You don't see Beyonce pandering to high class like that. Alicia is so elitist and uppity.

Not necessarily. Have you ever seen what severe drug use can do to a person? I know people who are brain damaged from it. No joke. He might have been totally sober.

i agree with you! now that it's voted online by mostly kids and young teens, the show is just going to be about the flavor of the moment! neutral
