I never could find it in any of the record stores. If I have to order from the internet, I'd rather order something old that is hard to find in the record stores. If I have to put out extra effort in searching for something, I know I can always find something old that I would sound better to me than something new. Andy is a four letter word.

Would one of the music stores be willing to order it for you? Sometimes they do that if they are small enough.

Would one of the music stores be willing to order it for you? Sometimes they do that if they are small enough. Yeah, they will order it for me. But like I said before, if it takes any extra effort other than just walking into the store, I use that effort to order something old and hard to find. When I go looking for something new, I usually know what I want when I walk into the store. If I don't get instant gratification, I don't order something new because that means it will come in the future. When it comes to something new, I have to be in the mood for it. In the future, even one day or even a few hours, the mood will have passed and I wouldn't be feeling it. On the other hand, when it comes to something old, I'm always in the mood. I guess what gets on my nerves the most is, I like to make continuous beatmixes. If I'm feeling something new at the moment, I don't really have time to think about the fact that I wouldn't have nearly enough other new jams from other artists to even make one 80 minute mix. In the heat of the excitement of hearing a new song that actually sounds good (which is rare), I spontaneously gravitate to the record store without thinking. Once I've had time to think about how few other new artists are in my collection, the excitement wears off, the thrill is gone, and it goes back to bitching as usual. Andy is a four letter word.
