And at one point there was a rumor, if I remember right, that Chris Tucker (either as a duet with MJ or solo) was recording it for the soundtrack. It didn't happen. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

- Off The Wall (Special Edition) (2001) - Greatest Hits Volume 1 (2001) - Number Ones (2003) - The Ultimate Collection (2004) - The Essential Michael Jackson (2005) - Visionary Singles Box Set (2006) - King Of Pop (2008) Don't forget -The Essential 3.0 (2008) I don't know that one, how is it any different from the 2005 Essential?

So HIStory '15 will be released in 2010. Dangerous '20 and Invincible '10 in 2011. Bad '25 will be released in 2012. still milking his fans and biting the hands that feed him Michael isn't involved in this release. Michael didn't want to be involved with Thriller 25 either but later changed his mind. They released 30th anniversary editions of other albums. Why not Off The Wall? I don't know why everybody is on this boo-hoo MJ thing, he don't mind re-releases. If I have to be frank, the compilation albums are the ones milking him. But re-releases of landmark albums aren't really milking it especially if it's released on a special occasion. By the way, does anyone else find it funny that the album turns 30 years old next year and he's only released five studio albums after that as an adult SOLO artist?

I already have the 2001 remastered OTW with the bonus tracks...not sure If I'm gonna buy this upcoming set.I'm gonna wait and see if it's gonna have some cool outtake and other goodies.OTW is Michael"s best album. They need to do something really special for this disc (and no,I'm not talking about bringing today's "hot" artists on board to remake and/or remix the songs).

Well, of course there's been a couple of setbacks to why he's only released 5 albums since then ...But w can really start after 1991's Dangerous. Between '79 and '91 he released 7 albums (4 solo) but between '92 and '08 he's only released 2 albums. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Since we kinda know why there hasn't been a DVD won't be released, we can only hope for one to leak, which I've heard will be real soon "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I agree with this. I have the 2001 remastered OTW cd too, I dont plan on buying this 30th Anniv. edition unless it has some really cool unreleased stuff (that I didnt already download off a MJ fansite years ago ) What would be cool and what Mike should do is release a 20th Anniversary of Moonwalker on dvd. As far as I know, there is no American release of Moonwalker on dvd yet, but there is a European one that's been out. He should release this on dvd with a Making of featurette and exclusive behind the scenes footage, plus audio commentary with Michael, the director, Joe Pesci, and the three kids that was in the movie...maybe even release a deluxe edition of this dvd that includes the Moonwalker book as well MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

I love moonwalker and was hooked on it for years when I first watched it. It's really sad and painful for me to admit this publicly, but so much has happened and the stuff in it with the kids and all wouldn't fly well at all with the public

Considering Bad is his best album and one of his most successfull, no reason why it shouldn't be celebrated. Hell, Dangerous and HIStory were good and successfull enough to warrant anniversary editions too. HIStory would be especially interesting. Instead of the greatest hits disc, a disc full of unreleased tracks from the making of the album.

I'd love to hear the demo of "Scream" without Janet, you know, the one Michael used to lip sync to on the HIStory tour. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

Sony could do it if they wanted to but part of the deal is Michael makes 70% and Sony makes 30%. Sony said that Michael would need to allow SONY to get 70% and himself (MJ) to get only 30% for it to be financially do-able. So basically MJ needs to re-do the deal and surrender 40% of his earnings on the DVDs. That was what a SonyBMG Australia exec said "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them.
