Michael Jackson - Little Susie Sorry for yet another MJ thread but I rarely start MJ threads. I was just listeing to the HIStory album from beginning to end and I realised how much I love this song. I think it's criminally under-rated even by fanatics. So what do you think of it?

Good for you.Just sayin' it'd be nice if you could discuss something else once in awhile. It just gets boring Lightofart, no offence. BTW, Little Susie is overblown, dramatic and far down my list, there's a thread on 'Maria' on this forum, back wwhen he was a kid. That song murders 'Little Susie'. kinda ironic that!

This thread is about Lil Susie not Maria

Cool song, but like a few '90s MJ songs, the long intro is ridiculous and adds nothing to the final product. I've seen the future, and boy it's rough...

to be honest this song sounds like a Tim Burton music for his gloomy movies.
i don't care for it but i love his voice

I found it boring. It's not my case. I prefer Stranger In Moscow any day over this.
Is it real it's a Dangerous outtake?

Just because you see it in the paper it's not actual, factual.

PLUS that reportedly came out of Mike's mouth. [Edited 11/23/08 9:13am]

[Edited 11/23/08 9:13am] If it really would be from 1979 I would like it more! Also I'm still not sure if it's right that he co-wrote his duet with Minnie Ripperton, I'm In Love. She died in 1979 and the song wa sreleased in 1980.

I like the old title better. Thanks for sharing that above.
And yes, TotalAlisa, it does sound like something off a Burton film. Indeed..it does. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

I also hardly ever listen to it nowadays, but it´s definately one of my favourites from the album. It´s beatiful and yes, he´s a great story-teller. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
