Jellyfish...

I'm gonna guess that most do not know who Jellyfish are. OK. But for those who know, are they not the greatest "unknown" of all time?
Fans of Queen, Beatles, Zep, 10CC, etc, will dig them. Period.
Anyway, check them out. You will not be sorry.

Great band!

I got to see them live in '93 - it was after Falkner left, but they were fantastic.

I don't know why more people don't know them... neutral

Thanks for posting the youtube links. I was too lazy to do it. smile
New Mistake is one of many fave songs from anyone. Period. Their music is completely timeless. Maybe that's why they didn't hit it big because they came out right when grunge took over.

Exactly! people were too caught up in that "three chords and the truth" shit...anything that was more complex didn't have a chance.....

No - I never got into them. They only released one album, right? Is it worth tracking down?

my old bandmates loved them and forced me to do some of their songs at shows, including 'King is half Undressed' and 'Baby's Coming Back'. Having to listen to JF on road trips made me want to drive off a cliff! lol

Yes.It's very much in the Jellyfish mode but more rock (glam) and less prog-pop (Queen, 10cc). And I do believe they only released one album.
The major tie-in was the keyboard player and the lead singer was the touring guitar player for Jellyfish.

Yeah, if you were into "alt-rock" at the time, they were one of the most buzzed-about bands, but I never really got it...
