Debarge with Bobby on Soul Train from 87 Notice how much Bobby and El seem to favor each other and have the same mannerisms. The song blows, though.

I don't know why they even bothered to continue Debarge without El and Bunny. Not the same at all and the music sucked. Then again, El should never have left the group anyway.

I thought Marty was Bunny.

So did I. And it's weird, because Marty does not have the typical femme Debarge look that a lot of his brothers have [Edited 11/23/08 14:19pm]

El & Bunny should never had left the group and more importantly El should have remained there primary writer and producer. Though Rhythm of the Night was there largest album. I hated it the most with the exception of "You Wear It Well" & Share My World" They had brought in a host of outside pop writers and producers which somewhat restricted there sound (same for El's first solo project)
As for Bobby he would have been better off staying with Switch or or going solo prior to the introduction of Debarge

I really don't think that Bobby really had a place in music post 83. I think he should have stayed behind the scenes. I agree with what you said re El and Bunny and Rhythm "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."
