Anyway IMO the song is just about universal equality, he's always been passionate about that. The video is just meant to be a cultural experience, seeing such a classically American pop star "branch out" in different dance styles and again helps expose people to different cultures. Plus, it looks spectacular and MJ's vids were always about taking it to the next level.
The intro is confusing though. The faces at the end again go with the universal theme, "we're all one" "we're all the same" etc etc The alleyway dance is really just self expression, which often doesn't mean anything or make sense.

Black or White ain´t my all time favourite song. It was heavily overplayed, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it the most at a concert - that was wild.
As for the video, I think it´s just great, chaotic, but original and genius. I have to admit I don´t get what he was trying to say by the panther section, but the dancing was cool. It would have been even greater if he did a simple dance section to no music and lay off the crotch-grabbing and smashing windows. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Reminded me of Moonwalker when he had to save the children by transforming into Voltron with Cape Canaveral in his frikkin chest. I guess he's all about peace and love unil somebody writes about you in the paper - then you respond by smashing their windshields in. And as a young boy, I did not need to see Wacko letting Mrs. Palmer and her five daughters inspect the family jewels. In a music video. Thank goodness David Fincher gave him some class later on. Oh yeah, the FUCK was up with the Moonwalker movie!?! It was like he played four roles: 1.) Michael 2.) "Gangster Michael" 3.) Car Michael 4.) ROBOT Michael 5.) Shirt-ripping rock star Michael There were sooooo many plot holes in Moonwalker 1.Where were the kid's parents? 2.Why was Kellie cryin' all the fuckin time! 3.Where did Michael go when left as a spaceship 4.Where did all those damn people come from to watch Come Together 5.What happened to the people in the Smooth Criminal scene? 6.Did the kids have a place to stay? Yeah he let it go alright. He just wanted to be another horny dude. That was not an anti-racist dance. I could understand if he danced in the style of traditional African dance, but holding your crotch 13 times is NOT an anti-racist statement. That's perversion. Ain't nothing wrong with that but he a fool if he think I'm believing it.
