The GREATEST balladeer ever. I recommend this set to everybody.... 
He had who's who in his band during his heyday in the 40s Charlie Parker Dizzy Gillespie Art Blakey Sarah Vaughan Dexter Gordon Miles Davis Fats Navarro Tadd Dameron Gil Fuller It doesn't get any better than that. Yet the man didn't recieve his dues, I'm sad to say. He's pretty known for his BIG baritone Jelly Jelly(Stays On My Mind) number, but I absloute A-D- -R-E his version of I Only Have Eyes For You  | |
