Man,what a crazy coincidence. Just one minute before checking out this thread I was flipping throught the channels and came across a live JB performance on a late night TV show set.

I'm thinking to myself, "what rerun is this?" It looked like a maybe 80's era James with some really big hair but there was something just a little weird about the whole thing.

The band was smokin' but they were just a little bit too smooth. They had some serious chops but that funky JB edge was missing. It looked like an 80's James but everyone else looked contemporary and the production values were totally today. WTF? Was the Godfather back from the dead?

I just caught the last 2 minutes of the performance and then out walks David Letterman andd says, "Let's hear it for the Allstarz."

Turns out it's been a week of nothing but tribute bands on Letterman. Monday was Purple Reign whom I've never seen.

I've looked all over youtube and Dave's site but there's nothing up yet.

You can see a hint of the Allstarz at http://www.livejim.com/id23.html but it's a total piece of shit webiste.

These guys need some professional management. They need to be in Vegas.
