It's OK. It's from the 2nd "Breakin'" soundtrack. Other great tracks on that album are "Din Da Da", "ICU", and "The Radiotron". Andy is a four letter word.

Oh no you didn't say Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo sucked! That movie is an American classic, dammit! I was dancing to this one just the other day "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The first 'Breakin' movie is cool but come on....the sequel is terrible! The only good thing about 'Breakin 2' is the theme song by Ollie and Jerry btw,'Beat Street' kills BOTH of these movies!

I agree with you about the preference for Beat Street, but being from NY it's only natural that movie would appeal to me more. The Breakin' films were very west coast--more lighthearted and fun like west coast hip hop was at the time before NWA came on the scene.

I remember in 1984,I was surprised at how quickly 'Breakin 2' came out.The first 'Breakin' movie came out in spring 1984 (around May,if I'm not mistaken). The sequel was in theatres by December of that same year! ... [Edited 11/13/08 6:06am]

I used to have both of those as well as the first Beat Street soundtrack on vinyl (never bought the second Beat Street album), then I sold them all on ebay during the great record purge. I should have saved them for you.

That makes no sense. The song plays a pivotal role in the film.I was hoping to find it on the soundtrack.

The only good thing about 'Breakin 2' is the theme song by Ollie and Jerry That first "Breakin'" is pretty corny also. And did you see that black queen from the music class prancing around in those damn leotards and leg warmers? Oh hell naw! I think I saw him actually skip in the movie a few times. btw,'Beat Street' kills BOTH of these movies!
"Beat Street" is definately much better but it has it's corny moments also. Andy is a four letter word.

"Beat Street" is definately much better but it has it's corny moments also. LOL! the guy with the leotard was a true queen, he was far too ahead of the game at that point, i don't people had discovered the gay breakers at that time, lol the black queen and ice t in the same movie, hilarious! oh yeah. the best song from the second breakin movie is nowhere to be found. its called "ACTION", a great song, never released in any format. bastards! they better release it eventually!
