Anthony Stewart Head's album? Giles, to those of you not in the know. Or if you prefer, Mr. Prime Minister.
I've heard he has an album or two out. Can anyone verify this? Does anyone have them, and if so, what's the sound like? Would they be worth buying? From the moment I first heard him sing on Buffy, I was in love with his voice. I'd love to hear more of it. [Edited 11/8/08 0:32am] "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Giles doing Behind Blue Eyes, with some rather unfortunate dubbing on the other actors:

I don't know anything about an album, but you can hear Anthony sing in the new movie Repo! The Genetic Opera:

Giles is in this?! I'm definitely seeing it then I was shocked too. And normally anything with Sarah Brightman's name attached to it would send me running in the other direction, but this type of vehicle might work for her. It certainly looks nice.

She used to watch Buffy with me once in a while, and would comment each time Head came on screen about how she'd rather hear him sell her coffee than lecture a brat chipped vampire about blood stains in coffee mugs. Repo, apparently. I've got a lot of respect for ASH, and so far I've loved him in everything I've seen him do. (though to be fair, so far that's only Buffy and Little Britain ) I really hope we get to see plenty of him. Personally, I think he'd do great in a Tim Burton film. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I love dark humour, I love musicals, and I love Head. (heh ) I saw REPO last night. Anthony Stewart Head has significant screen time being the Repo Man naturally. The movie looked fantastic, everyone had nice costumes, especially Sarah Brightman with her cybernetic eyes. There was excessive gore, the plot was dumb and Paris Hilton was in it, all of which I would have been able to tolerate if the music was any good, but it wasn't. I was expecting cool rock songs like in Rent or Once More With Feeling, but I found most of the music very tedious with no melody. The film did make me want to pull out some of my old goth clothes though.
