Tears For Fears are coming back. What do we think?

I can't wait. One on the best bands of the last 20 years. New album out in March (Roland and Curt).

A Masterpiece is coming, 13 years in the making!

80s rivals never really work and I've never been much of Tears for Fears fan. But how knows.

I loved that Songs From The Big Chairalbum from 85'. "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" is a stellar pop song. Love that one.

wtf? The Hurting is imo a masterpiece of the techno pop era but don't exaggerate please, didn't they record an unreleased album between "Songs" and their mainstream cheesy 3rd album?

Wow! Everyone here can't seem to argue with the greatness of this band. They were THE band to listen to back in 1985. If you didn't own (or tape off your friends record player) "Songs From the Big Chair", you just weren't cool. But I'm surprised y'all forgot their 1993 album, "Element", featuring their hit, "Break It Down Again"
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I will be happy to see Kurt and Roland together again, the band is great with just Roland, but I will look forward to seeing what they will do together again!!! I hope that they will tour, Hubby and I went on our first date in 1991 to see them and then again in 94(?) when M'shell Ndigeocello(SP?) toured with Roland. She was great singing Oleta Adams part on "woman in chains", I always thought that it was cool that Roland could sing Kurt's parts too, I guess Kurt got over the idea that he wanted to produce a more commercial (poppy) sound!(hopefully)

Hardly. Roland's been making bad records since Curt flounced off to make equally bad records and then a few million selling real estate. I guess Roland needs the money and Curt needs the limelight.

No they didn't. They just spent fifty years and a lot of money making the awful "Seeds" album. Apparently Roland spent a month working on ONE NOTE!!!

True, very true. But "Change", "Pale Shelter", "Head Over Heels" and "Mad World" are great too.

I'm happy to hear it... I've loved most of their stuff, and Elemental is still on steady rotation in my CD player!
