I haven't heard it in years. Yeah, Steve "Silk" Hurley was the man when it came to remixes. "Makin' Happy" and "Keep on Walkin'" are perfect examples at how great the man was especially in 1992.

I think he did one of Gett Off that I liked too. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I play it every once in awhile, at a party. Still gets the crowd up. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

lawdy, i remember this remix.
I copped the 'Remember The Time' remixes single from Virgin Megastore when I was about 8 years old and this was on it. |

I got the CD single for this.. it was one of the later singles from Dangerous.
Why does this sound like "Got A Love For You" by Jomanda? Did Steve Silk Hurley do that one too? Love the use of "Rock With You" intro roll/drums.

I am not into remixes in general, but I really like this one. Thanks for posting. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I also like the old school/new school remixes he does for the Tom Joyner show. Some of them deserve to be released as singles. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I don't know, he keeps the old beats, he just uses vocals from the new songs to mix them. Sometimes he'll "screw" or "dog" a song's tempo to fit the current song that is mixed. Example: He "screwed" Aretha's "Rocksteady" and included vocals for Beyonce's "Work It Out".

This morning, he did "Single Ladies" by Beyonce with Chubb Rock's "Treat Em Right". Great mix. They have one posted on BlackAmericaWeb.com of Minnie Ripperton and Dave Hollister (at least that's what is listed on the site, but it is actually Slave's "Slide" and Robin Thicke "Wanna Love You Girl"). http://www.blackamericawe...llery/1638 [Edited 11/18/08 11:21am] [Edited 11/18/08 11:22am] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
